LOL at my OB!

So today was my six-week post delivery appointment, and it's official: I went through my entire pregnancy and recovery without my OB ever seeing my lady parts. Like even once. He never checked me, his nurse did my sweep, he wasn't there for delivery...is that weird? Not that I would've wanted him to poke around down there for no reason - I just think it's funny. Sort of like going to a chiropractor who never touches your back, lol...

Nope...no rotating docs in the regular practice, just for the hospital...

Mine never saw mine either... no checks, I did my own GBS swab, she didn't deliver my baby, and the nurse practitioner did my pp checkup! What a sweet deal.

My ob didn't check me at all during my postpartum visit. Just came and talked to me. I'm definitely not a fan of pelvic exams, but I was hoping to hear some kind of update on how I'd healed (I had 2nd degree tears).

Mine saw mine lots! 8 wk vaginal ultrasound. 4 cervical checks. He broke my water, delivered my baby, stitched me up, checked out my stitches at my 2wk PP visit. He'll probably check me out again at my 6 week. He's DEFINITELY seen it a lot more recently than my hubs! Haha.
