    Me:     30, DH: 32
    My hx:  uterus/hormones normal Dx: low AMH 0.5 = poor ovarian reserve
    hubby hx: low sperm count, poor motility, started on clomid, retest in May showed no improvement, will be on clomid another 3 months, another retest scheduled for August

    Started IVF #1:  ~BFP Mentioned~
    • ER (Thursday April 17th, 3 precious eggs).
    • April 18th: Received news 2 out of 3 eggs fertilized!
    •  Planned 3dt: Easter day, transferred two 8B embryos and received pictures :)
    • BFP starting 8dp3dt 5/1 Beta #1: 87, 5/3 Beta #2 206 
    • 5/19 Heartbeat 123bpm
    • EDD 1/8/15

    I am chilling between ER and ET.  I had my ER on Monday and 19 eggs were retrieved.  12 were mature and ICSI'd. 10 fertilitzed, but 2 fertilized abnormally.  8 had polar bodies.  Unfortunately, my clinic doesn't do a daily update, so I won't hear any more numbers unless something is wrong until Saturday, which is when they should be going for CCS.  My clinic's thought is that taking them out and messing with them doesn't do them any good, so the fewer checks on them, the better, assuming you know 3 day vs. 5 day transfer. I understand that, but boy I don't like feeling out of control (which of course I am, whether I get a report or not).

    Yesterday I had a bit of a freakout about the lack of updates and just what the plan was, when we would decide which to transfer, whether CCS would be cost-effective, etc.  I emailed my RE's nurse, and then my RE called me back and we had a phone consult.  I love my RE!  I'll have a consult with my RE after he talks to the embryologist on Saturday, and then ET is scheduled for Sunday morning, assuming that we have healthy embryos to transfer.

    I felt really awful after my ER on Monday, like I had been stabbed repeatedly.  I was at risk of OHSS and was faithful on the diet. Fortunately, every day has been better since then.  A word to the wise - definitely start on some Colace leading up to ER!

    9 days stimming with Gonal-F, Menopur, Cetrotide
    ER on 4/21 - 19 eggs retrieved, 12 mature, 8 fertilized normally
    3 embryos survived to blastocyst
    2 hatching blastocysts transferred on 4/26
    Faint BFP on 6dp5dt and getting darker each day
    Beta #1 (11dp5dt) = 292
    Beta #2 (18dp5dt) = 6,154
    Ultrasound at 6w2d reveals a single baby with a heartbeat of 125 bpm! EDD 01/12/2015
    Ultrasound at 8w0d: heart rate 164 bpm
    Ultrasound at 9w4d: heart rate 185 bpm
    Panorama tests returned in 10 calendar days. Low risk for everything!
    It's a boy!!!

Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Congrats to all the BFP and hugs to all! I am off of work for 7 days! Yay! I also told my nursing manager about us going through IVF and she said if I need anything at all let her know, it is kind of a relief to have her know what's going on. I have done my first 3 PIOs of the cycle and they are not going as well as my last cycle but I guess I just have to get back in the swing of things. ET is only 5 days away and I'm getting anxious! FX for great news from everyone! And prayers to those with bfn, IF sucks.

    QOTD: I love movies but I'm a little more into tv shows my all time favs are dexter, true blood, and vampire diaries. I really wanted to cry when dexter ended!

    @mKateG I'm a nurse too!  Are you inpatient?  So hard juggling everything, I ended up telling my manager too!  It's been a rough couple of days back, had to refuse a droplet pt and got a total care pt today (which is not usual on my floor).  People are suspecting something is going on, especially when I asked for help to lift today.  Also love all the exact same shows as you, loved Dexter, but that ending could have been better.  A lumberjack?  Really!

    Official CD1 last night with mean ol' AF...no need to even bother with a HPT and stopped progesterone, so now I'm just waiting on next steps and a schedule from the RE.  Suprised it came just 11pdIUI, but whatever...June whatever-we-call-ourselves, here I come!  But first, I'm getting drunk tonight.

    @dp21: sounds like we have a lot in common lol but yea I really expected dexter to go out a little stronger than that! Or at least be something a little "cooler" than a lumberjack! And yes I work on an oncology floor but we get a lot of med surg pts too, one good thing about being a cancer floor we can't take pts who are on highly contagious precautions due to the number of neutropenic pts that we have. But I really dread having to tell everyone that I can't lift because their first thought will be "she must be preg" but my manager told me to let the techs do their job! So I plan to! :-)
