Should I risk it?

DH has come down with the horrible stomach bug that ds and I had last month. Fortunately, we were having an argument and I haven't kissed him in over 24 hours, lol. Now the question is, should I sleep in the bed or tough it out on the couch? I definitely don't want to get sick again, but dang I hate sleeping on the couch.

  • Personally, I think the person with the stomach bug gets the couch  ;)

Normally I concur, but he's been sleeping back there since 5:30 and is still sleeping. He's already rubbed his germs all over the bed.

  • I'd sleep in the bed.

  • When DH had the flu, I slept on the couch. But both boys were also sick at the same time and were waking up frequently throughout the night so I didn't want to keep waking DH up by getting up constantly. And I really really didn't want to get his flu or spread it to the boys.

  • I still sleep in the bed when he is sick. I agree with his germs are everywhere already

Just don't let him use your pillow

  • When DH has stomach bug I sleep on the couch, any other sickness I don't. But I hate hate hate throwing up. I also don't want to hear him throwing up in the bathroom which is right next to the bedroom.

  • I decided to not risk it. When I had the bug last month, it was the worst I've ever felt in my life. I've been frantically wiping everything down with anti-bac (it autocorrected that to anti-Hav, lol!) wipes. Praying and praying we don't get it.
