I hope this isn't too personal but is anyone currently or previously been prescribed antidepressants? I have not been able to shake the feelings of sadness, anger, resentment and other negative emotions since my unsuccessful FET in February. I hate the feeling that everyone but me was invited to the party.
I don't want my LO growing up with a depressed, angry mother but these ugly feelings are back in full force and I can't seem to get past them.
I am awaiting a call back from the therapist I saw for IF and marital issues. I need her and probably a scrip for Zoloft to be able to appreciate what I have rather than what I don't and may never have.

I was on Lexapro for 2-3 months a little over two years ago. I definitely had a situational depression. (My mom had been diagnosed with breast cancer and died very suddenly as an indirect result of her very first chemo treatment, her LONG time SO died three weeks later, a woman I consider my 'second' mom was diagnosed with breast cancer the week after my mom died).
My PCP was great, and the Lexapro helped me get my head on straight. I didn't notice any side effects from it, which was something I was afraid of. I think it's great that you are being proactive about your health. ((Hugs))

I was on Paxil for anxiety and depression for years. I strongly discourage that particular drug. But I strongly encourage you to get help if you need it. There is no shame. Hugs Mo. I'm always around via PM if you need anything.

I have also taken Lexapro and had good results. I have a history of depression that started in my teens and has required treatment on and off. Lexapro in particular helped me get through my PPD after the birth of DS1. My PCP wrote me a prescription for it shortly before I was due with the twins and I started taking it the day after I gave birth. I am so glad that I made that choice. I still take 10mg daily and don't have any side effects. It helps me to be a happier, healthier mommy for my children, and a less anxious partner for my DH.
I hope you get the help you need soon. ((HUGS))
I have in the past taken St. John's Wort, I like it cuz it was effective and natural. It is a mild antidepressant, but if you pair it with counseling I think it can be very affective. That's what I used after my third miscarriage before I had Hannah.

I've taken zoloft in the past and paired it with therapy sessions. It was highly effective for me. I found that therapy was a blessing in disguise - I initially hated it, but being able to go and talk to someone unbiased was amazing. My therapist was able to get me to confront my feelings and figure out how to get past them.

Huge hugs mama. Ive been thinking about you a lot lately and wondering how you have been feeling. I have taken Lexapro in the past. It was extremely helpful and less side effects than Zoloft. Good for you for reaching out.
