Side pains during contractions or just feeling different after membrane sweep?

I had my membranes stripped monday AM (it sucked, will never do it again!) but I had the typical spotting and cramping after.  With the cramping sometimes it felt like RLP too, it was really painful and more prolonged than the typical 'twinge' RLP.  That got better tuesday and the spotting slowed down.  But today spotting has picked back up and more crampy.  Also getting side and thigh pains, doesn't feel like RLP, more like a side stitch when running.  Having off and on contractions but I'm not sure if they are BH or real ones, or maybe a combo of both.  Has anyone experienced this?  I've never gone past my due date or had my membranes stripped so this is all new for me.

If they get longer stronger and closer together it's labor. Otherwise it's not.

I know it's not active labor yet.  Guess I'm partly just venting.  But I am also curious if others had any symptoms besides cramping and spotting after membrane sweep.  I know it's not a guarantee to induce labor and since it's been well over 48 hours I'm assuming it didn't.

After I had my membranes swept I ended up having sex that night and going into labor.
