Serious discussion

I'm not starting this to talk about how everyone feels about guns. I'm simply bringing up that everyone should talk to their kids about guns. It's just as important as fire safety, but gets less attention. Below is a link to a local article in the news here. If you don't talk to your kids about gun safety, their curiosity will be their guide.


If you are interested in programs that teach how to start this conversation with your kids, the NRA has a good program that we've done with our DD. Even at this age, you can teach your LO to simply not touch a gun. Here's a link to their program website: https://eddieeagle.nra.org/
