AW- FX for a few of us

I'm having surgery this afternoon to have a melanoma removed on my shoulder. They already biopsied the whole thing a couple weeks ago, but are going back to remove a large area to make sure they got all the bad stuff out.

Also, @candlequeen, isn't your Dr.'s appt today? Thinking of you, and sending good vibes your way for good news.

Well, everything went great on my end. It was stage 1a, so almost as good as you can get and they expect I'm fully cured now. They really chopped me up though! For such a little mole I now have a huge 3-inch Frankenstein-stitched wound on my shoulder! They want to biopsy another one, given how this one turned out, but they think that one will come back negative.

That is wonderful news @JEPES1348‌ !! I lost my dad to melanoma back in 2007. I love hearing stories of people kicking that awful type of cancer's a$$. So glad to hear you caught it early.

So sorry @CLLDLL‌. Cancer, no matter what kind, is scary and unfair.
