Parenting after 35

Thanks MWhipple

I had my hubs look at all the great recipes I got and he thought the elegant scalloped potatoes would be the biggest hit so I made those. Holy schnizzzzz they were delicious. Thanks so much to you and all the wonderful ladies that took the time to share recipes.

Hope everyone who celebrated on Sunday had a nice day.

I made the mistake of delegating dessert :( that was the only flop of the evening but that is a whole other story!

  • I'm glad they were a hit!  I love trying new recipes...I have a ton of them.  But when you find your favorites, you tend to stick with them.  I made the other potato recipe I shared for Easter.  And had leftovers last night, so yummy!

The upside of a bad dessert is you can say you are stuffed and not have to waste the calories?

  • I love to cook when I'm in the right mood but I just don't have the energy lately! Luckily my DH is a chef and he made a nice Easter dinner for us. :)

Glad you had a nice day. Did anyone take pics? Here's a pic of outfit number 2. She spit up all over the first one. Haha.

  • @Guennie Your husband is a chef?  So jealous.  My DH doesn't cook because 'I'm a better cook than he is."  So I guess I try so many new recipes because I have to keep it fun.

This wasn't Easter, but I couldn't resist the bunny ears.

  • Awww You guys are so good, you took pictures!  I just asked my hubs if he took any and he said no...I thought you did.  We were so busy getting ready for company we didn't get a single picture :(  Parental FAIL!!!!  You guys have 2 very cute little ladies :)  I will have to see if my in laws have any they can share with me.

Ya I'm pretty lucky but he doesn't cook all the time at home, he actually eats a lot of junk. I try really hard to eat mostly healthy so we usually end up eating separate things. And he pretty much hates my cooking LOL.

Love the pic. So cute. :)
