We have a bit, it doesn't bother me terribly, he's got nothing more than peach fuzz so there is no flaking. My 2y/o still has some patches too though with her (finally) ear length curly blond hair you don't notice it. Ironically my 5y/o never had a spot. I often think have some seborrheic dermatitis on my ears, many adults do though, it's more of a problem in people with darker skin as there can be some hypopigmentation.... me and my children are pasty people so who would notice a lighter freckle

Yeah he has a little spot. I have been using Gentle Naturals treatment. It has helped but hasn't gone away completely. I may have to try something else, but as long as it doesn't look horrible it doesn't really bother me.
I second the Selson Blue! S had horrible cradle cap and we tried everything - including Mustella and coconut oil. It got so bad that I took him in to the Dr. because I thought it was infected. She prescribed a cortisone cream to help the inflammation and then said to use Selson Blue. It went away within a day and hasn't been back since!
There is a Selson Blue Naturals version I found that I felt a little better about using!
Just a little. It was never that bad and is slowly going away so we haven't been too concerned. We've only been using coconut oil. He has so little hair that we haven't been combing like we know we should.
My LO just started developing it last week. I mixed a little bit of Burt's Baby Bee Oil and breast milk together, applied it with a paint brush and stuck a hat on her for 15 minutes. Right before I bathed her, I combed through her hair with a really fine tooth comb. We did this treatment twice and it's cleared up perfectly now. Breast milk is like Franks Red Hot Sauce, I put that shit on everything!
