Can the remote be saved?

The toddler just tossed the AT&T remote into the bath water. I immediately removed the batteries and tried to shake the water out.
Can it be saved or should I call and order a new one and get used to Netflix for the next few days?

Put it in a Tupperware filled with rice for 24 hours.

I think the rice thing sometimes takes longer than 24 hours. I've heard of people doing it for a week.

..but ya, you might consider ordering a new one.

If it makes you feel any better, LO just dropped my hairbrush in the toilet. Cheaper, granted....but I can't bring myself to use the brush tomorrow.
