Does DC eat salad?

Jodynjames said the girls love salad.  I have just always thought that babies can't do lettuce. 

Does your DC eat salad?

She doesn't like lettuce (too bitter), but she'll eat everything else from it...including the "dips" (dressing).

I gave Paige some with dressing on it and she licked the dressing off and spit the lettuce out!...lol.  She will eat lettuce in a taco salad though....but she spit it up last time so she hasn't had any since.

Well, of course mine do... I didn't know that was weird lol. I make salad with spinach or romaine hearts.

I saw that and was wondering the same thing.  DS doesn't like lettuce, but he loves all the salad trimmings.

He chews it for a while like gum, then takes it out and throws it on the floor. Also like gum.

Not that he's had gum.

DS really likes veggies.  He will eat tomatos, lettuce, pickles, cucumbers, and loves dressing.

She will chew on a little lettuce but mostly sucks the dressing off, if we let her.

No, not lettuce.  Other veggies, sure.  But something fiberous like that, well, you really use your molars to pulverize those and I figured I should at least wait until all hers are in.  She accidentally got a piece one time and spit it out.

No-I haven't given her lettuce and doubt that she would have any interest in eating it at this age,
