Helloooo - I have been lurking a little and finally decided I belong here if you'll have me! I'm flerlgirl (Or Empress of the Universe, if you prefer) and my son Josh was born at 26 weeks due to IUGR and pre-e. He is 14 months old and should be at the level of a 10-month-old but is delayed and functions at around a six month level. He is a great kid and I love him to pieces but between all of the therapies and specialists it can get exhausting and overwhelming, as I'm sure many of you know. So I thought this might be a good place to commiserate, get/share info, and AW my kid ask questions.

DH and I have been married for three years and are expecting our second (surprise!) baby, who will hopefully be nice and not require any NICU time or specialists. Dream big, right? Anyway, thanks for letting me hang out here!

  • Welcome @flerlgirl!  I think I've seen you on the preemie board - 26 weekers unite!

There are a great group of women here.  Feel free to post any questions you may have.

And good luck on this pregnancy, I'm sure you are racked with worry.  33 weeks still beats the heck out of 26 though!

  • Thanks for the welcome! @jojogee, I am on the preemie board! 26 weekers are the best! :) This pregnancy is definitely going better. I hope to make it 37 but LO is growing well so things will be different this time for sure. And in the mean time i just eat my feelings.
