Babies on the Brain

is it possible to actually control what gender your baby will be?

I've heard that there are certain things you can due to increase your chances of having either a boy or girl, but is there any truth to that?  For example, certain positions during sex create a certain gender baby. I'm not asking because I want to try them, I'm just curious because it seems pretty far fetched to me.

It's sex, not gender, and you can't control either one.
Why isn't "gender" the  right word?

  • The only one I've heard of is the Shettles method. It's just a theory though and not proven so it would still be a 50/50 chance either way.
