How early did you see a heartbeat?

I had a scare yesterday with some spotting and passing clots. The RE did a third beta, and it was a good strong 7,500 (still at a 38 hour doubling rate). Because I was freaking out, they also moved my first ultrasound up from next Tuesday to tomorrow. I will be 5 weeks 5 days. Do you think there's any chance we'll see the heartbeat(s)? I'm so relieved to be having the ultrasound, but I'm scared it will just make me worry more. Thanks!

I had my first u/s at 5w5d and did not see a heartbeat, but the RE warned me ahead of time that it was very possible that we would not since it was so early. Everything else measured on track though, so the u/s was still reassuring. They scheduled my next u/s for a week later and we saw the hb at 6w5d. Good luck tomorrow!!

There is a small chance, but still a chance. Not only did we see ours, but we heard it too at 6w2d!

I was 5w3d on our first US and we did not see a heartbeat. We saw them one week later at 6w3d. I think it is still a little soon, so if you don't see it try not to worry. Good luck!

We had one at 5w4d and did not see a heart beat, but we did see two gestational sacs with yolk sacs in them. Going back Thursday (6w4d) to hear heart beats!

We saw a hb at 6w2d (it was 112), but they had warned us that it still might have been too early to see it even then. You might see it at the u/s, but try to now worry if you don't see a hb that early. I know that is easier said than done. If there isn't a hb, ask if you can come back in a week. My RE generally scheduled u/s for 6w+ because they have a higher chance of seeing a hb - but I totally get why you have moved yours up. Good Luck!

We saw ours for the first time at 7w, 1 day. The doctor even prefaced that ultrasound with the fact that it may be too early to see it and to focus on the measurements. We didn't have an earlier ultrasound, so I don't know if we would have seen it earlier. With that said, fingers crossed that you see yours but don't get too nervous if you don't!

I had a scare and went in at 5weeks 5days and didn't see hb's. According to my RE that is super young to see a hb.... But I'm sure that there are exceptions to that. Do prepare yourself not to see a hb... And know that it doesn't mean things aren't moving along perfectly if there aren't any.

We saw the heartbeat at 5w6d and it was 90bpm. Prior to the ultrasound the tech said we probably will not see one and the doctor was surprised that we saw one/got a hb!!

I was 6w3d and saw and heard a strong hb at 123. Don't assume the worst if you don't see it there...hopefully they'll get you in a week later as well. FX for you!!!

Im with most of the PP, we saw/hear ours at 6w3d. It was at 119 I think.

We only saw the sacs at 5w2d, a week later at 6w2d we did see the heartbeats. Best of luck at your appointment!

With my first pregnancy we saw a hb at 5w5d. The hb was only 60! The RE said it literally just started beating.

In my opinion, you should go in and figure you are not going to see one. That's super early. FWIW- For this FET I didn't go in before 6w3d because I didn't want that mind game.

I also had a scare and heard 2 heartbeats at 5wks 6days. They did say it was very early and a chance we wouldn't be able to hear it but thankfully we did. You had a great beta so even if you don't get to hear it, try not to worry.
