Starting the thread early.  

For some reason, I stopped being able to bump from my tablet (it won't let me type in the box) so it has limited my replies, sometimes I feel bad that I don't comment on more, especially when T&Ps are needed and it feels weird to love tit the post.

The doctors office called and the hospital system they are affiliated with is filming a training video tomorrow morning in the office. They need a mom or Dad and a small child and asked if we were interested. Umm yes! DD is gonna be a star!!

Elijah and I are having a lazy day at home after all the excitement of Boston yesterday. We saw some of the marathon from the Prudential Center and he was going "runners, runners!"

I suddenly posted my announcement on Facebook. I mixed it in with Easter pics. So far only one person has commented. I figured I would get at least some comments, but I didn't think many would get twins out of the picture. If I don't get anymore comments I think I will change it to my profile picture.

I'm feeling okay most days, just really tired. I'm feeling less worried because we heard one heartbeat for sure and she thought she heard the second, but it was hard to tell since it was early.

Yeah to hearing the heart beat at least. I always felt better once I heard the heart beat too.

@morrkim, glad you're doing well! It is a little early to distinguish two heartbeats. Looking back I may have had a very incompetent OB because she was barely able to detect two heartbeats at 20 weeks. I wish they would have just given you an ultrasound

Back to the Sofia topic... so, Miranda married the king? Did not know that, I just assumed she was adopted. And Miranda is rather busty as it is, don't know why she wears a giant bow across her bosom!

@BabyCarryingVessel‌ the nurse that used the Doppler said it sometimes depends on how far apart they are. When I had my u/s at 6 weeks they appeared pretty far apart.

Yes Miranda married the king and I just learned that the sister and brother are twins! I didn't know that until one of my friends daughters caught me up on the whole story.

@StephanieM522 I didn't know the twins were twins until the birthday episode. LOL  So, full confession:  I love Baileywick.  I just love him.  Mainly because he's Tim Gunn.  And he looks like Tim Gunn.  And the first ever episode of Sofia that I ever saw, he actually said "We'll make it work!" and I may have died a little.  It was fantastic. LOL

Ok Update on the car from yesterday.  My H did qualify for the loan but because the car is a 2003 our credit union want to charge us 12 % interest rate. This is ridiculous as when he got pre-approved two weeks ago they came back saying the interest rate would be 2.9% and never mentioned anything about a higher interest rate because of the year of the car, so we are seeing if a different bank can give us the 2.9%, so we are still waiting.  I did go look at the car he fell in love with and I must admit that it is nice looking, but I still am not convinced that we need another vehicle at this time and told him that if he can't get the 2.9% interest rate or close to it, then we will not be purchasing the car! What a mess!

What do I feed my kid today?  So far, she's had a piece of whole wheat toast, a few bites of my maple and brown sugar oatmeal, and a banana.  Usually that's one meal, not half a day.  She is able to keep down water, so I got a box of the pedialyte packets. (the actual pedialyte goes bad since we only use like 1/4 cup worth out of the whole gigantic bottle.)  She took a few sips of that, but wasn't terribly impressed.  I think it may be too strong.  She doesn't ever get anything besides milk that isn't watered down.  I'm making wonton soup for supper tonight, so hopefully that should be gentle on her belly.

DH was awesome this evening and after he got home from work took both girls for a visit with his sister. 3 hours of peace and quiet! Granted, I spent it cleaning and balancing the checkbook, but at least I did those things with no one whining at me or yelling at my boobs. And he's bringing me home ice cream. I kind of wonder why he's being so nice........probably angling for some sexy time.

I swore I wasn't going to work today. I took and entire day of sick leave for B's appt. But then I got home, and she was napping, and I just wanted to wrap up a few things. Then she woke up and I stopped. But then it was her bedtime and she was sleeping and just a few more things.

In my defense, systems were down yesterday and I'm swamped and I've got deadlines! And SD is on spring break so working from home will probably be tougher this week...

@stephcarter do you have worry about the necklace getting caught on something and strangling her? That would be a big concern for me.

Back in GA safe and sound. Made pretty good time too. I left at 5:30 this morning and got in around 6:15 tonight. So not even 13 hours and it usually takes me 13 1/4. The boys were ok. E did great, but DS1 was a whiny a-hole. Usually it's the opposite.

E is feeling better after more amox. Sleeping in his own bed tonight will be awesome for him too, I'ms sure. And for me. I missed my own bed.

Already went through all of our mail and put mostly all our stuff away from the trip. The boys were going nuts playing with all their toys they haven't seen in 2.5 weeks.

Alice has no interest in eating. She has munched and nibbled here and there. Poor kid is probably scared to eat! She has been sipping on pedialyte though, and has peed quite a few times today so I am not gonna worry.

The necklace isn't really long enough to get caught on anything. It's long enough that it's not tight on her but short enough that she can't eat it.
