So, I told my self two months ago when I ran our of already purchased disposables I would start using cloth at night. Well I an about three days away from going full time cloth. Here is my problem, I don't know what to use. I think that something I already have will probably work, but I just don't know what combination to try. Just to let you know my LO just started sleeping thru the night; for her that means from about 8:00pm - 7:30am. (Yeah!!!! Mommy gets to eat dinner and get a good nights sleep!!!) Her size two pampers swaddlers are just barely keeping up, in the morning the are about to POP. This kid really pees at night. So this is what I have to work with.
Flip covers ,
Sunbaby pockets,
Bg pocket,
Bg microfiber inserts,
Flip stay-dry liners,
Thirsty hemp liners,
Sunbaby bamboo/microfiber inserts,
Ans a super thin thing that I got second hand that will hold about 1.5 oz,
So what combination do you think I should try?
Re: Overnight solutions? And a little AW.
If she's a super pee-er I think I'd stay away from MF at night. When MF gets really saturated it's prone to compression leaks when baby lays on it.
Do you have any prefolds or flats? I would maybe try a prefold/flat with a thirsty hemp doulber in the Flip cover. If you don't have any prefolds or flats, maybe start with the Sunbaby bamboo/MF and the hemp doubler. If you get leaks, you can always order some prefolds or bamboo inserts.
Sorry for the double post, my computer won't let me edit my comment above.
Wanted to add that I'm not familiar with the Sunbaby bamboo/MF inserts. If they are a blend rather than having one side that's bamboo and one that's MF, you don't want the MF touching baby. So that's not a good option in the Flip, you'd need to use a pocket to stuff it in.

Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
We've gone to fitteds for overnight. A prefold with a hemp insert was not working for us. I now use Little Tush Twinkie Tushes on him.
Yup... DS STTN at 6 weeks. Then at 9.5mo he learned how to walk, crawl, and stand in his crib. Then there were his molars, maybe a regression. Who knows. He's cutting another molar right now, but i gave him Tylenol last night, and he STTN. But woke at 5am. I miss sleep.
