1. How many weeks along are you?
2. Any medical updates?
3. How are you feeling lately?
4. QOTW: will anyone stay at your place after LO arrives to help out (family etc) and/or will DH take time off? For working moms, how long of a maternity leave do you plan to take?
Re: **2IF grad check-in**
TTC #1 4/2009 - DD 2/5/10
TTC #2 since October 2011
2IF issues
2. I had an OB appt last week - it is always such a relief to hear the heartbeat! Also took the maternity 21 blood test and should get the results by early next week.
3. Feeling fine, just anxious to hear the results of the blood test - it will be a long week!
4. We won't have anyone stay with us and because DH owns a really small family owned business, he will only get a couple of days off. I get 6 weeks of paid leave and the rest of the leave is vacation time or unpaid. I took 12 weeks last time but am still trying to figure out how much I can take.
2. They found another little bean hiding out in there! We are having twins but we will find out more tomorrow at a more in depth ultrasound. The babies were measuring 9w4d and 9w1d when I was 9w5d according to this new due date. They both had good heartbeats but that's all I know for now. My midwives won't see me because of the twins so now I need to find another doctor.
3. I'm tired and now a little stressed out. But I am stressing less about the extra aches and pains because now there is an explanation!
4. I will be off through Christmas at least and hopefully through the new year because I don't want to have to work the holidays this year! My DH will be taking at least two weeks off now I hope and my MIL will also take some vacation and my mom is a teacher so she'll have Christmas break. Nobody will stay with us but we'll have lots of help thank God!!
@jeffreysmom24, the nausea has finally gotten better! It's still there once in a while, but not all day every day
1. 14 weeks!
2. Appt today, I am hoping my OB does another quick little US peek to check for a heartbeat, but I will settle for the Doppler
And we will be scheduling the anatomy scan. I can't believe I am just 4-6 weeks from finding out what this little person is.
3. I apparently have season allergies now? I am definitely feeling the 2nd tri energy boost, hopefully after the allergies pass I can really start to enjoy this pregnancy.
4. DH is a union contractor, so no PTO. He will take off the day of and after my C-section and then probably have to go back to work. My mom is planning on taking vacation that next week to help out, and DH's parents are both retired so they will be available. I am a school nurse, so luckily Christmas break runs into my time off which ends up giving me a boost. I will have my c section around October 9th-ish and won't have to be back until the first or second week of January.
Congrats on the twins @lcloffredo!! How exciting!
1. 13w4d 2nd trimester!!! And I almost dropped the days this week. Maybe next week...
2. Nope, nothing this week. I'll have a 14 week doppler check appointment next Monday.
3. Not bad. I took the 3 flights of stairs at work this morning while carrying 3 bags if that tells you anything!
4. I don't want anybody in my house actually. Having other people present just stresses me out more I think. DH will take a week or two off I'm sure, and then I'll be on my own. DS will go to daycare during the day though, so it won't be a big deal.
Eta: failed to add response to maternity leave question. I'll get 6 weeks paid and will probably take another 6 weeks unpaidOctober 2011 - DS (7)
July 2014 - Stillborn DD (24 weeks)
August 2015 - DD (3)
April 2018 - 5 week loss
PS: Shout out to @freakyfast huge congrats to you sweetie! Can't even explain how happy I am for you!
1. How many weeks along are you?
17 weeks 3 days
2. Any medical updates?
We were told we have placenta previa, hopefully it corrects itself, but apparently it is so low it's practically "in my cervix" according to my OB. Will update more when we get home from vacation and I go for my next apt.
3. How are you feeling lately?
Feeling pretty good, still battling the morning sickness... But can't complain!
4. QOTW: will anyone stay at your place after LO arrives to help out (family etc) and/or will DH take time off? For working moms, how long of a maternity leave do you plan to take?
We are not allowing anyone to come up and stay with us after LO arrives, we want "our" time first and make sure big sister gets a chance to bond before people start flooding in. DH is given 10 days of leave, and will probably take the rest of the month off as well.

2. Any medical updates? Weekly app't showed protein so labs drawn. Labs came back fine so baby will be cooking a little longer. My next app't is Wed.
3. How are you feeling lately? Blah, not feeling energized or desire to do anything. Acid reflux is kicking my butt.
4. QOTW: will anyone stay at your place after LO arrives to help out (family etc) and/or will DH take time off? For working moms, how long of a maternity leave do you plan to take? MIL is retired and will be helping out. DH is taking off the week the Baby is born. I will be off the remainder of the school year. We go back at the end of August.
2. I finally see my OB tomorrow. Everything went well with my RE. So far so good.
3. I am feeling ok. I get pretty tired at times but other times I am fine. This has been a completely different pregnancy so far.
4. My husband will be home the first week or two and then our mothers will provably alternate the next week. They live local so they will just come for the day.
