Birth control

I went and looked back to see if this has been asked but can't seem to find anything.

My doctor prescribed me beyaz as a birth control. I did tell him I was breast feeding and he said it did not matter. Has anyone had any experience with estrogen birth control and breast feeding? I know everyone is different so it might not be the same for me.  Also do you think if my milk supply dropped that I would be able to increase my supply while still taking birth control?

I don't know about that particular birth control, maybe it's a really really low dose of estrogen? I'm curious why else your doctor would say it was ok to use while breastfeeding.
I know I can't use my preferred BC (Nuva Ring) until I am 100% finished BF due to the estrogen per my doctor...
I understand your doctor says it's ok & prescribed it for you, but if it was me I would definitely look into this more before taking.

My MW specifically told me you can't have BC w/estrogen when BF because babies can't have estrogen. Soooo yeah, that.

I was also told by my OB that you can't take a birth control with estrogen while breast feeding. I took NoraB after I had DS and was still nursing. I googled about Beyaz and there is a lot of conflicting info out there. Some sites women said they took it while breastfeeding and other sites said not to take it while breastfeeding. If I were you, I'd ask your doctor about it again. I would ask why this particular pill with estrogen in it is ok to take while you're nursing.

Agree with @linzerd‌. My MW said no estrogen when BFing.

Agree with everyone else. My OB said no estrogen. I'm on the mini pill.

Wtf?! Glad I opened up this thread but now I'm having an anxiety attack! My doc said Nuvaring was ok so I just started on it last week! And now that I think about it, LO has been acting a bit unsatisfied after I nurse him. Shit!!!
