So I know we all had issues with our LO's when they were babies with limbs getting out between the crib bars. DS now has started to stick his legs through the crib when in a standing position if we don't hear him immediately when he wakes up. He will bend his knee and stick it through, and with his chubbiness it's been getting stuck! I've had to actually push it back through the past few mornings and I know it hurts. He even has a small bruise. He puts it above even where breathable bumpers would be so I'm at a loss of what to do. Has anyone found a way to avoid this?
@Brendamndz isn't it the worst?! We got rid of bumpers when he figured out how to take them down. We don't have much of a problem when he sleeps, but when he gets up I think he is trying to climb out and sticks his knee through until it's stuck. This morning I really had to push and squeeze it back through and felt so bad! We are SO not ready for a toddler bed yet, though! (I'm not, at least!)
This and climbing are what convinced me it's time for a toddler bed.
