Nerdy diaper covers

I'm shopping for a shower gift for a couple who are like "trendy nerdy"  They both wore all star shoes at their wedding, type of nerdy.  I want to buy them a couple covers to go with the prefolds and fitteds I'm giving them, but the only trendy nerdy cover I can think of is  rar Quinn.  Any others?

The only "nerdy" diaper I can think of is Albert. Though we totally love dino's in this house. There isn't any Harry Potter or LOTR or Star Wars or Dr. Who type covers though.

ETA totally kind of joking about the hipster comment.... sort of :P

lol I guess.  I'm not cool enough to know who falls into what category.  I just know that things like argyl and allstar shoes go with them.  The only "character" nerdy things I can think of are little butts and I was hoping to fill out their NB stash.  I'm getting them a dozen GMD nb prefolds and 10 nb workhorses.  I have three assunta covers so far and I'd like to get them rar Quinn if it comes in nb and one more cover.  Some snappies and bam!  Awesome shower gift!  lol.

Sounds good to me. You might even get a few simplex in cute prints for them. Dino's are pretty good or Elephants. I know we try to aim for all the geeky diapers. Those always end up being my TT's though. :P

Of course Albert.  What about something like the PW flames cover?  If you can find it, Sweet pea has a really cute Argyle print. I like my Thirsties Scottish Storm. Maybe a tots bots tiny fit.  They have some pretty unique prints.

I just ordered, Charlie, Dexter, and Quinn in NB covers.  That with my 3 Assuntas.  The prefolds and fitteds, some snappies.  I think I'm good.  Do you guys think I should add a wetbag too?

Same here. For whatever reason, almost all gifts when ds was born were blankets (not receiving blankets either). On top of that, most of the blankets were handmade so I have a couple drawers full of blankets that I can't do much with for a while yet, and I have no use for them since I have so many.

I was given a "sprinkle" and did get some diapers   I love buying people cloth!  I almost jumped for joy when they said they were CDing!

You could probably make this into a pretty awesome diaper cake. I did that for those that CDed. Always cute for a shower.

This is what I did for my XSIL. I rolled them up and used rubber bands to keep them small. The center of the cake is all California Baby wash.

I love my KangaCare Preppy wetbag. Large, and cute. Preppy is one of my favorite prints, and I only have it in NB cover, so I had to get a wetbag so I could use the print for longer.

Sweet Pea has an Argyle wet bag (I have the Sweet Pea diaper cover in this print)

I only know of the Canadian Site where I buy my cloth, but I'm sure this is on amazon too.

Bummis had a cover that was bicycle print  that seemed very hipster/nerdy with the coloring/style, but I think it was a limited edition because I can't seem to find it anywhere now.

ETA: I bet a chevron would go over well also, with the "trendy" aspect.

tl; dr has anyone suggested the bikes grovia? not nerdy but most chucks wearing glasses lovers I know would appreciate the bikes thing.

I have this print in a wet/dry bag that I LOVE, but the grovia is a bit too yellow for my taste.
