Pail liner?

Hi ladies

So we picked up a simple human trash can for our diaper pail and we need to get some liners. Anyone have any good recommendations on a brand that isn't so expensive but works well...can you use a reusable laundry bag for this purpose or is it better to go with something that has pul? Trying to save as much as I can on this :)

Our pail is 45 L or about 11 gallons

Thanks :)

Re: Pail liner?

  • I LOVE my Planetwise ones. They have so many color choices, too.
  • A reusable laundry bag would work, but personally I would get something with PUL. That way it can't leak onto your pail. Then you'd have to disinfect it every week or so.

We use wetbags, so I can't help with recommendations.

  • Mine are from kangacare. A trashcan and a pail liner works great for us/

  • I have 2 kangacare and 1 planet wise.  I like them both equally.

  • Planetwise are my favorite too.  You only need 2, and mine have lasted 4 years so far.

  • Go ahead ladies I'm in Canada so it'd be a hassel to work out payment and shipping

  • I haven't used them yet, but I have 2 KissaLuv pail liners I bought from Amazon.ca for $14.95 (CND) each with free shipping. They were the least expensive ones I could find and they seem to have pretty good reviews.

They are just plain white, no cute prints, but since they are inside a plastic bin I didn't think it was important to me. And they are really big. Right now we are just using a 13 gal. trash pail, but the liner is long enough that it could easily fit into a 20 gallon pail.

  • If you're looking to save money and you sew, making a pail liner is a really simple project.

A used one would be cheaper in most cases.
