Do you remember exits by their numbers or town names?

When you are driving somewhere you have been before, do you remember your exit by the exit number or the town names on the sign? (I ask because my husband, and I remember different ways; I am wondering if I am the weirdo in this case or if he is ;-) )

I remember by the town names. My husband remembers by exit numbers. He's always asking me what exit number when I am giving him directions, and I am like, "Dude, you know I don't know those; why are you asking me!?"

I guess I mostly remember by town/street names, but if I'm really honest, I don't remember either and just know that I get off the interstate when I see xyz landmark or whatever.

I always thought this was a regional thing. In NY where I grew up people seem to remember by number but in ATL where I live now it's by name. So, I know the exit number where I live now but no others.
