CS mamas - baby wearing question!

If you've had your baby already, have you been wearing your newborn yet? I'm dying to get little Leo in the moby but I feel like my incision can't take that kind of pressure yet! Is there a special way to wrap that is incision friendly? I'm 14 days pp and don't feel comfortable in most pants yet!

Re: CS mamas - baby wearing question!

  • I wore my daughter yesterday in my k tan for the first time!!! It didn't hurt incision but hurt my back!!!
  • I have a ktan still in the package. I'll try it! My back is already sore from nursing, lol!

  • I'm 2.5 weeks PP and have used the Ergo with no issues.  I think the first time I used it was maybe 1 week PP?  It was fine.

  • I've worn LO in the k'tan a few times and it's been great!

  • I've been wearing DS in the ring sling since week 1 -- no incision pain!

  • The moby works for me for a few hours and then I start getting sore. The Ergo hurts my incision and I'm 3 weeks pp now.
  • My belly is SO tender, that the thought of using my moby is terrifying. I really want to wear her, but even my maternity pants are uncomfortable :(

  • I tried the ktan today, too! As long as you place it nice and high it didn't bother my incision at all!

  • I have her in the Moby right now. It comes way above my incision, but the added weight above that area is definitely not the most comfortable thing. I think it will be okay for an hour or so around the house, but I wouldn't be ready for a long day out with it or anything.
  • I love the k'tan. I got lucky... I was up and about less than a day after my csection and only took inpreufen because the nurses pushed it. I didn't have a ton of recovery pain so the k'tan didn't bother me one bit.
