Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  CD 10

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? I just met with my pcp yesterday. I'm getting an ultrasound to check for cysts (I think I have one on my left ovary). I made an appointment with my OB. I couldn't get in until July, so that gives us three more cycles to ttc. By then, we'll talk with her about next steps/testing.

QOTW: Doing anything for Easter? Nope. I bought myself some candy...yummm.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I want to get pregnant. Hoping this is our cycle, like always. However if things time out like they have each month (O on cd 22) then I'd be finding out around Mother's day. Which kinda sucks...unless it was a BFP of course.

Where are you in your TTCAL journey? CD 21, haven't Oed yet, but finally got a positive OPK this morning, so hopefully in the next day or two.

QOTW: Doing anything for Easter? Spending time with family out at our ranch.  We've been going there a lot lately, it's nice and relaxing. Also, since I'm Oing, lots of BDing lol.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? 6 month anniversary today. It is so hard to believe that I am here without another pregnancy.

QOTW: We went to our lake house for the weekend alone...it was really nice.  we came back in time to have dinner last night with DH's family

Open Topic:  I started spotting yesterday so I am already counting myself as out...the exact same thing happened last month so I guess this is a new normal for me.  I am so frustrated that we've been doing all of this bs for the past year and a half and nothing good has come of it.  I've just been super down the past week and just so ready for this season of our lives to be over.

I am new to this, but what do the acronyms mean? IUI, DC, DPO?

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?

I had a physical exam with my GP who gave me another all-clear.

My GP would like me to get off my antidepressant before getting pg. My OB says it is not necessary. I don't know what to do. I am sure I can get off of it quickly, but am afraid I might seize up with anxiety if something happens (or doesn't?). I am all over the place about this. I am still going to therapy, so that will be helpful I guess?

My GP would like me to get off my antidepressant before getting pg. My OB says it is not necessary. I don't know what to do. I am sure I can get off of it quickly, but am afraid I might seize up with anxiety if something happens (or doesn't?). I am all over the place about this. IUI is a procedure (intrauterine insemination) to get pregnant, CD means cycle day, DPO means days past ovulation

Medication is a very personal preference.  If your OB says it is ok, then it probably is, although I think the less medication you take, the better.  Personally, I didn't want to get on any medication because it is important to me to not have anything in my system when I get pregnant again.

this.  my ob said that if I absolutely needed it then I could get on it but to try life without it.  I've been med-free since our first pregnancy and really haven't noticed that much of a difference without it...

@marylaurena  Yes, I do agree with that. I am looking to see if acupuncture or something else would help in the meantime.

Where are you in your TTCAL journey? Oh, I wish I knew! either CD 51 or if I count those couple says of spotting and subsequent + OPK, CD 20.

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? RE appt on the 30th!

QOTW: Doing anything for Easter? In- laws for breakfast and then my parents' for dinner. It was an emotionally draining day!

@MrsLaurenandDan‌ GL this cycle. I get what you mean about anniversaries... @marylaurena‌ (((big hugs)))) ttcal totally sucks. @mingaling2‌ I'd go with the ob's opinion since she knows much more about pregnancy. I was on antidepressants during my preg and my ob was fine with it. I'll be on it for this one as well, to help keep me more emotionally stable. The risk is extremely low to the baby (for lexapro....each med is different)

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  This is our first pp cycle after loss trying to conceive. I am currently DPO 4. Fingers crossed... I know its a long shot with it being the first ovulation after our loss but I am keeping my hope alive.

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?  Not yet.

QOTW: Doing anything for Easter? We went to my family's house.  It was the first time I had seen everyone since the loss so I got to talk a little about Christopher.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Hoping for a positive pregnancy test by the end of the week/beginning of next. I also go back to work this coming Monday so I am preparing for that...

@mingaling2 - I've been seriously considering acupuncture, too.  I don't know a ton about it but I've read some good things on TB so I am thinking it is worth a try.  Let me know if you try it out!
