Diaper rash and breast pains

So my boobs HURT! Well, mostly my nips and my breasts feel... tired? DS2 has a diaper rash (his first ever). Do you think there is any connection?

    Mother love sells a "diaper rash and thrush" cream that is safe to use on your nipples.

    It's his little butt crack that is red.

     

    FML if it's yeast. Now I have to google how to treat my cloth. I never pay attention to those threads.

    Tea tree oil and grapefruit seed extract in the wash and/or regular bleach.

    I bleached everything first wash. Then I did my wash as usual, but added bleach or tea tree oil every time. Oh, and I used a half cup of bleach. Nothing was ruined from the bleach. For the tea tree oil I did 20 to 25 drops.

    SO... I put lanolin on the nips and let the boy have a lot of naked time and we are both all better. A real *facepalm* moment.

    Thank you for all your suggestions. At least now I know what to do if we do get a yeast propblem. I really thought it was more than cracked nips because they hurt so freaking bad.
