Hmmm, we had takeout thai last night...and probably nothing organized for tonight. PBJ? Grilled cheese? Fish sticks?
Bonus question, what is your LO/toddler having? M is over purees but only has 4 teeth and wants to shove everything in her mouth at once, and I'm having trouble thinking of things she'll eat! Besides all of the fruit, that is. She's living on peas, carrots, bananas, and watermelon, with a mix of cheerios right now. Have tried much more than that but I feel like she needs something substantial.

I can't remember how old M is. You'd be surprised how much they can gum, even without molars. Starting around 9 months we gave G all table foods. Some of his favorites: whole wheat pasta, black beans, kidney beans, hummus with zucchine strips to dip, pot roast cut into pea sized chunks, cheese, greek yogurt.
For a quick on-the-go meal, I would occassionally get those microwave toddler meals. I think Happy Baby/Tot makes a couple with quinoa and chicken that are fairly healthy. But that would involve <gasp> microwaving, not sure how you feel about that.
Tonight is go out to dinner night at the CLLDLL household. We will probably have Jason's Deli, Panera, or Smash Burger. Yesterday we had grilled pork chops with couscous and sauted zucchini/summer squash.

DS was kind of delayed with solids, so I might not be a good guide for what an eleven month old can eat, so take these suggestions with a grain of salt.
What about pasta? I overcook it by a couple of minutes and DS loves it with cheese sauce or red sauce. He likes it with hamburger in the sauce, too. Your DD might have a little trouble with hamburger right now, though, so obviously use your judgement on that one.
Guacamole is a favorite around here. Now he eats it with tortilla chips, but he used to just eat it with a spoon. Scrambled eggs with ketchup or mild salsa. Are you supposed to wait on eggs because of potential allergies? I forget. I'm pretty sure DS had them around a year old. DS loves potatoes! Mashed or hashbrowns. And corned beef hash, OMG, he craves it!
I've been really good about cooking dinner, but less good about shopping for the right amounts of food. Unless I go shopping, we are having mashed cauliflower, asparagus frittata and salad.

She does eat pasta, if its mac and cheese - she doesn't like it with red sauce. She'll also eat meatloaf or meatballs- but I don't always have those around (sometimes have frozen ones). She'll eat two bites of scrambled eggs and then just squishes them and toss them away once they are cold. I tried a little hummus sandwich on a wrap cut up in bites, but that became a sensory exploration - and so did a cheese and black bean quesedilla. So maybe my question is really, how do I get her to stop rubbing things in her hair and seeing how far they will fly - and eat them? - other than strawberries and watermelon, which immediately get shoved in her mouth. And the answer is probably - she's a toddler, right? Ugh I'm not ready for a toddler!
Mine is almost two and everything's still a sensory exploration. I swear it looked like he was giving himself a spa treatment with his Greek yogurt yesterday morning. I looked up and saw he was gently rubbing yogurt all over his hands and wrists, LOL!
One thing that sort of entices him is dips. He loves to dip things in ketchup or mustard. When I give him pizza, I give him sauce on the side. He likes dipping fruit in yogurt, etc. Sometimes it makes things way messier. Sometimes he eats a lot better because of it.
We're having quesadillas because that sounded awesome and I'm being lazy today.
When he was just getting started, G loved plain Greek yogurt, cheese sticks, tortellini, peanut butter sandwiches... To make the yogurt less messy, I bought some reusable food pouches for it. If I just gave it to him, it was everywhere, but if I put it in the pouch, he eats it like it's the best thing on earth.
Oh! G also gets deconstructed dinners sometimes. So if we're having fish tacos, he'll get a little pile of cheese, some pieces of fish, a little yogurt, etc... He eats almost everything we do, he just does better with it if it's not combined
I am roasting a chicken, sauteing asparagus in orange juice, and eating the last of the potato kugel for dinner. I also have to make more stock from scratch so I have more schmaltz for the matzo ball soup tomorrow. Its still Passover so I eat matzo ball soup everyday with no guilt. Little man had peas for lunch (puree) so he will probably have apple sauce and matzo for dinner. My little Jew boy loves his matzo. He only has two teeth but he sucks on the pieces of matzo until its soft.
we're having hot dogs on the grill, watermelon, and bbq potato chips. not exactly avocados or roasted chicken, but i'm seriously excited to eat. the fact that i intend to eat outside and on paper plates so there's nothing ot clean up after maybe be adding to the excitement.
We had fish tacos with fresh caught speckled trout, avocado, and Asian slaw. With a side of steamed veggies and watermelon for dessert. Does that meet your approval @stoneycakes??
To drink I'm having water with a splash of apple juice. But mh had a beer-garita last night, and my 2 sips of it rocked my world. (A real beer-garita, not the junk in a can.)

Yeah. I'm excited. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures to show off. It won't be what I picture in my head, and we've been frantically cleaning and spending money to set the party up tomorrow, but still fun
But no one will notice the clean house. Or the little details of the party or food. Lol. It's all just in our head

That sounds super yummy! How do you make your beer-garitas? I've never had one, but I think it's right up my alley.
@stoneycakes The best way is to turn a dos Equis amber bottle upside down in a large frozen margarita. The rest is magic. The one we had the other day was just draft beer poured 50:50 with frozen margarita in a mug.
