Any questions or concerns? Not really, found out I have Placenta Previa, so I will be waiting until my 34 week US to find out if I do an c-secion or not.
What are your plans for easter? Easter Egg hunt at my moms Saturday, Sunday with the in-laws.
Any questions or concerns? Only one is that I changed my diet in the last week -- went back to eating paleo, which is primarily whole foods and avoiding grains, and I've lost a pound or two. I'm eating a TON, but I just want to make sure that I'm not harming LO.
I don't think thats an issue as long as you are eating enough. I'd still check with your Dr. to be sure.
How far along are you? 25 weeks How big is baby? Cauliflower When is your next Dr appt? Monday Any questions or concerns? Just gonna double check that it's normal to feel BH this early. Any questions or concerns? Currently testing my glucose 4x a day to determine if I really have GD. Its been EXTREMELY challenging to get a good blood sample to test...looking forward to getting some pointers so that I am not poking myself ten times and going through 10 testing strips every single time (
If you are doing lancets on the fingers, try where the top corner of your nail is/would be, about 2mm-4mm away from the actual nail, on the side of the finger. And if its a push activated lancet, make sure it is all the way against your skin.
If the blood doesnt want to play, squish your finger like you are trying to squeeze out the last of the toothpaste.
I rarely have an issue when I do it like that (on patients, usually)
What are your plans for easter? Nothing this year. My side of the family are going to England for 2 weeks as of tonight. My SO's side of the family are Jewish and are keeping kosher for Passover.

Thanks. I feel like this is exactly what I am doing...but often, not enough blood comes out...or it instantly spreads and doesn't bubble up. I think you are spot on with positioning...after breakfast I got it on the first try and I feel like I was in a location closer to what you are describing...thank you for the feedback! I (and my fingers) really appreciate it!

When is your next Dr appt? April 29 - Glucose test and 24 week appointment
Any questions or concerns? My OB practice does the newer 2 hour glucose test. I have to stop eating by midnight the night before and my appointment is at 9:30 the next morning. By the time I can eat again around noon I'm afraid I'm going to have starved to death! Last time I did the 1 hour test, drank the glucose drink at home, and went in. This time I have initial blood work taken, then drink it, then they take my blood again after an hour and then after 2 hours. Ugh!
Had an appointment this morning. All is well. Next appt May 16, and that will include the glucose test. Yuck.
I'm taking Benadryl for the first time ever. I'm miserable. I was explaining it to the doc and DH helped me fill in the blanks about how long my symptoms had been going on. DH explained my itching last night and asked doc if it was a histamine attack. Doc agree. Who knew DH knew so much?! lol
We're doing something with the IL's. BIL is in town too. I'll be fun...if I'm not still so miserable.
When is your next Dr appt? May 16th? I think? I'll have to double check, it's a Friday is all I remember right now.
Any questions or concerns? Nope
What are your plans for easter? Egg hunt and hanging with the extended family at my parents house. It's the first Easter we have been able to spend with them in 4 years, so I'm excited to be there.
