@unaveragejane go back and try and get it! I remember wanting my glider and hearing horror stories about them taking forever to come in. So I was going to "demand" the floor model. Well they had what I wanted in stock NEW... So I didn't have to fight at all.
It was very anticlimactic.... And I hope your experience is too (in a good way).
I've always said that I don't want to "hide" my kid's vegetables because I want to teach them how to eat well (I know, stupid kid-less person declaration )... Yeah, G discovered a few months ago that he gets to choose what he eats (as in... I can set a plate of five foods in front of him, and he can choose to only eat one of those five). So there's been a serious dip in his vegetable intake.
I finally got fed up with worrying about him getting all of his nutrients, and I started making him "juice" once a day. He now has AT LEAST a full cup of spinach and a carrot every day, and he thinks it's awesome.

Isn't this just part of becoming a parent? LOL. I think there are like five things I do on a regular basis with one or both of my boys I swore I would never do before kids.
I just ate a gigantic croissant AFTER having lunch. When I say they are gigantic I mean it. Here's an old picture with a smartphone for scale. Mine wasn't quite that large, but somehow it disappeared too quickly.
Our Lab caught a rabbit twice this evening. DH is sure that it was the same rabbit both times. It did not survive the second catching. A few minutes ago I noticed two rabbits sitting on the patio. The dogs have now chased them into a flower bed lined and will bark at them intermittently. I am so over having such an abundance of rabbits. I confess that it doesn't really bother me when they get caught anymore.
Oh, but the really gross part is that DH warned me not to let DS wander out into the yard b/c he couldn't find the rabbit's head. Yeah, you were warned.
FFFC: I have been successfully cloth diapering for a year now and I'm still nervous to give out advice. That's pretty much why I never comment on any of the CD-relevant threads haha. I'm like nervous I'll give advice to someone and they'll think it's the stupidest thing they've ever heard or they'll try it and hate it and then think I'm a moron. Seriously ridiculous.
Also, WTF TB? I can't reply to anything on my nook anymore. At all. So I'm pretty much stuck lurking/reading only until DD goes to bed and I can get to my laptop. By then I've forgotten what I want to say/what threads were located where. Ugh.

We love the movie Frozen! We just watched it this week, in installments. It's very sweet. Some of the music is reminiscent of the Lion king, we thought

I watched my dog eat a baby rabbit. I could see her jaw squeezing it. It was so gross and disturbing.
I might throw up now.
Also gross- We had rabbits for awhile when I was growing up. Raccoons used to pull the baby legs from out if the cage to eat them. Sad. After a few years we had a little pack of badass bunnies who could keep the raccoons at bay.

To be fair, it's not a favorite, but good enough to sing along to
Oh my word, I confess that I am so so so looking forward to being able to turn DS's car seat around. I plan to wait until he reaches the seat height or weight limit for RF, but it just is such a PITA to duck down over this belly and get him into the back of my sedan without bumping his head or mine.
I liked frozen, just watched it for the second time with no kids. However I will say that it makes very little sense, has more random, unexplained things than most Disney movies, as gets dumber ever time you watch it.

But I don't listen to anyone's arguments regarding my coffee choice =bad and theirs is better.
My choice and preference is the only one.
So there!
Yes. Lol. But those aren't my favorite. I like the regular brewed (or clover) coffee
