Scandal season finale

Does anyone else watch this? Hopefully I'm not the only one that watches trashy TV...

So I knew that when they said Maya Pope was taken care of, that she was still alive. And I'm glad that Fitz finally knows about Mellie. But I'm left with a bunch of questions after the finale:

 

1) Maya said something in the hospital about how Olivia would understand her if she had kids, but Maya was trying to protect her from Fitz. Was she referring to her attempts to kill him, or something we haven't learned yet?

2). Did i miss something last week when Jake was kicked out of B613 and charlie found out about Quinn and Huck, or did they just skip over that part? 

3). So now Livs dad is back at command? Did he ever leave command, or was the point of that whole montage to show that it was all a grand plan?

4) is Jake in on the plan to make sure Liv stays away, or does he genuinely want to stand in the sun with her?

So many questions! Anyone have any input?

I think Mama Pope was working with Daddy Pope all along in order to get Olivia away from Fitz. When she said I was just trying to protect you I think she meant by trying to blow him up and kill him. Daddy Pope planned the entire thing the whole B613 takedown, trying to aide Olivia in stopping them as a way to show Jake was not capable of running the department and so that he could get his position back. He never intended to stop B613. 

I feel like the Fitz and Mellie thing will enhance their relationship, all this time he hated her because she turned him away but she only did that because of the rape. So now he sees her in a different light. 

Quinn's ex knew if Huck knew his family was alive it would crush him and he would leave Quinn so in the end he got what he wanted. I feel bad for Quinn because she is alone now. 

I think Jake really loves Liv the question is can she love him. 

Harrison had to be killed off because he has been having so much negative publicity in real life they probably wanted him gone. 

Is it just me or did this feel like a SHOW finale not a season finale. It almost felt like the show ended. 

Huck has his family now so he can't go back to being bad crazy Huck unless they kill the family. David has the case files. I felt confused way too many unanswered questions.

To answer your questions

1) I think she was referring to her attempts to kill him...which is probably all a lie since she did go to try to get her money

2) I think when O.P.A shut down B613, Jake saw that as his chance to leave...plus admitting in front of Fitz that he slept with Olivia didn't help his chances any. Also, Rowan helping "kill" Mama Pope ensured he was back in good graces with Fitz, which was the point of the whole montage to show that it was his grand plan.

4) I think Jake genuinlely loves Olivia. He was never really cut out to be Command.

Wait Charlie found out about Quinn & Huck?

@hatroopes I only said trashy because its pretty sexy sometimes. But I thoroughly enjoy it.

 @tondraluv, that was my question. Last week Quinn and Huck hook up, then this week Charlie is moving out and giving her an envelope with info about Hucks family. I feel like I missed a scene or something. 

@msameera25 so did daddy pope actually get kicked off command, or was that part of the plan? Was he working with mama when she stabbed him?

I think Fitz needs to stay with Mellie now, like Olivia said, and he finally realizes that. However I wouldn't be surprised if she gets back together with the vp again next season and he uses that as an excuse to leave her. He doesn't need to worry about reelection anymore.

I am pretty over Cyrus now too. He has really dug himself into a huge hole of a downward spiral.

I can't stand Quinn.  I kind of like that Papa Pope still has a bad side because I knew he wasn't going to go quietly into retirement.
