wipes solution

Hi sorry me again. This may have been discussed before but I'm on mobile and can't search...

Any who i was wondering if there is a solution you ladies use for your cloth wipes? Do you prefer to use a spray bottleand spray the bum or do you prefer to have a saturated wipe sort of like a cloth version of disposable wipes? I also suppose you want a good stock of wipes on hand...how many do you prefer to have?

We have about 50 and that's a ton. We put plain water in a peri bottle and squirt the wipes as we go

Oh and do you need to prep wipes like you do diaoers?

Natural fibers, yes. But one wash should do it

I just use water, but I store mine wet in a wipe warmer. I think we have about 40 wipes now, and we finally don't run out all the time.

I mix 2 cups of pre-boiled water with a squirt of witch hazel and a couple drops of Homestead Company Baby Wipe Companion. (I got it from GMD but I think this product has been discontinued. We're 2 years in and not even halfway through the bottle. If we use it up I'll probably look for something similar) All this goes in an OXO wipes contained with 15 GMD double-sided wipes. They are wet but I would not say they are saturated.
