Now, fuck that nurse in the face. Seriously, I would be doing all sorts of complaining. ALL sorts. She is damn lucky that you are okay and your baby is okay. What a unprofessional douche bag. I would seriously file a formal complaint. Her behavior was unacceptable and could have lead to way serious outcomes. Not to mention that you missed your daughter's birth. I'm not a sue happy person, but God damn I'd complain if I were and everyone would hear me.
You should definitely make time to report that "nurse"' for negligence. It's lucky that there was an actual nurse there who spotted your seizure. Sorry you had such a traumatic time.

Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry your birthing experience was so terrifying, but so glad you and your daughter are ok. Congratulations on your little girl!!
I'm so sorry you've had to go through such a traumatic experience. I hope you do report this nurse so that hopefully this treatment can be avoided in the future, that is beyond ridiculous.

So glad that you and Josie are doing alright! What is with these hospitals treating our mom's like crap! Report that twatwaffle when you get a chance. Hope you have a fast recovery and get to go home soon! ((HUGS))
In memory of the angel babies that were too perfect for Earth.
@jennyinheaven I didn't want to hijack the other thread so thought I'd bump this instead. You mentioned that you reported that one nurse, which is awesome! Just curious how that went? I hope she faces repercussions for the way she treated you, no one should have to go through that when it could have been dealt with if she'd just done her job!
@spacepotatoes , It went well, I filled out a survey and within a half hour of it being picked up the head of nursing was in my room wanting to hear the story. I felt listened to and respected. I let her know that otherwise our experience with staff and care at this hospital has been above and beyond wonderful which is true and that my main goal was not to berate but to prevent someone else from receiving the same sub standard care at the hands of this woman. She assured me that she would be having a sit down with the nurse immediately and that she would be put on probation and made to work.in teams with another nurse until further investigation of the incident was completed. She will also.follow up with me in a week or so.
Wow. What a story! I'm so glad that everyone is ok. Congratulations! I hope you have a quick recovery and enjoy your new baby.
Also, if you have the energy, I would file some sort of complaint against that bitch nurse who ignored you. I'm sure you can contact the hospital's HR dept. I want justice for you!
Glad everything is OK with you and your DD. My induction with DD turned into a mess of an emergency and I also had to be out to sleep. I woke up 3 hours later and could comprehend that I had a daughter I know it's disappointing to miss out on that. I am glad you were able to speak ton someone about that nurse. Her bedside manor was complelty uncalled for. In the end, glad everyone is healthy
