I hate my mom.

She was over at my house and A fell asleep on her. She ended up having to leave, so she stood up, waking A up in the process. My mom puts her down, kisses her forehead and says, 'I have to go, you just close your eyes and keep sleeping.' to which A replies 'Ok.' and falls back asleep.

What. The. Fuck. What are these mystical grandmother powers and how can I get some?!

Fine, my mom's coming this weekend.  So you can have your mom for a bit longer.  But once #2 is here, I'm really gonna need the help.

My FIL put M in the PnP at his house. M actually slept for an hour without being in physical contact with anyone. I'm so jealous.

Don't worry.  You'll be able to do it with A's children.  Ironically the magic powers will not matter at that point because you can always pass them back to their parents if it doesn't work

I will say though, ITK, I'm glad to see that this is a tongue-in-cheek 'i hate my mom' post, not a legit 'your mom sucks' post.  You have enough drama, you deserve a good mom.

My MIL asks me all the time, "Do you wake him up just to see him smile?" Seriously, woman??? Who the heck wakes up a sleeping baby on purpose, and what baby smiles when woken up like that? I'd like to know what she was on when she had DH b/c apparently I need some.

On the other hand, if DS ever fell asleep on my own mom, she would probably sit as still as possible for as long as it took, even if I later had to shampoo my sofa cushions. Oh dear. I think I may be biased.

Yeah, I'm definitely lucky, she certainly balances out the crazy.

I'm sure there will be a legit post about hating crazy people within the next few months though. You can never fully escape crazy.
