Things are looking up

Today was our check up and the dr. Appointment was WAY better!!! We both woke up in a great mood. We went in and got our favorite nurse and the doc this time. Both were all smiles and hugs with lots of joking. Sigh of relief! Follicles were looking great. We have 4 at 13 ATM and 2 others that are between 10-12. We will start the ganarelix today through Sunday and continue follistim. Go back Sat. For monitoring with potential trigger Sunday night.

On a side note I found a gay friendly therapist to go see. Appointment on Tuesday. Kinda nervous but hoping to grow personally with some help. Sarah's not thrilled I'm going, but I just keep telling her it's not for her or really about her but about me and dealing with my stress and communication skills.

Thanks for all your thoughts and suggestions. I would be lost without you guys!

I'm glad to hear things are going well!  The follies sound great.  I'm glad you're going to connect with a counselor.  I have gone before and have found it so helpful.  If you don't really connect with this person you're going to see, try someone else.  You want to make sure the person you see is someone you're compatible with, otherwise you won't get as much out of it.

Awesome news.  I'm so glad you had a good appointment today, and kudos to you for making the move on seeing a therapist.  Care to set up a visit for me while you're at it?    j/k - I need to get off my butt and do it.

@JGY‌ I don't know why I was so afraid to make the appointment. Hoping it helps. He seemed very chill and very gay! Lol. I found his info through our local LGBT resource web page. They had a whole list of people who won't try to put you down for your lifestyle choices. Being in the Bible Belt that was important to me.

It's always scary to move forward on something like that where you're really putting yourself out there, and you know a lot of hard work is going to be associated with it.  Again, I applaud you and I really hope that it is helpful.

Glad to hear it. Best of luck with this cycle and i also think it's great you are taking care of yourself by seeking out a therapist. Sounds like you are doing everything you can to put yourself in a good spot for pregnancy/parenting.

Yay! I'm so glad you found a therapist. It means you are ready to conquer some of the things getting in your way and that is awesome! Hope it goes well. Its the journey, not the destination in my experience so being open and willing to work is all it takes! Yay for you!
