There's some weirdo who named her daughter "krimsyn" on the 0-6 month board. When I asked about it she said everyone she knew told her how wonderfula nd unique the name was.

My sister's best friends in elementary school were Misty and Brandy. Misty got picked up on a solicitation charge in college. (Yes, it was fun writing that story and then seeing her mom at the grocery store.) And Brandy? Ironically, she's now a drug and alcohol counselor. HTH does that happen?

Back in college we came up with this whole stripper name likelihood calculator... I forget the specifics... But it was like...

If the name is a noun - especially a noun that applies to jewelry, booze, animals, or sappy self-righteous emotions - the chances of it being a stripper name increase 200%. So Diamond, Brandy, Kitty, and Serenity all have an element of risk to them.

If you spell the name ridiculously your chances go up by another 100%. Like "Jennifer" is okay but if you're "Gynephyr" you're in playing with fire.

If you spell Serenity "Syrynetee" then we're off the races. The naked, naked races where you can see lots of c-section scars if you look closely enough.
