I agree with pineconey because I interpreted her post/complaint differently then those that are offended. I am a cabooser myself. I don't disagree with what some others have said, but I don't think those people understood correctly what pineconey was saying thats all. I say that because I share some of her sentiments and I never felt that anyone doesn't have the right to complain.
Spoken like a true politician maybe. But I don't understand all the drama and hurt feelings. I feel like people have taken this thread personally when it wasn't even directed at them.
I honestly don't understand why docs allow 38 week inductions anyway. Your due date is only an estimate...so you could really be giving birth to a 35 week old who has trouble breathing. Oh and I'm 6 days overdue and waiting for nature to take her course...
There is a light at the end of the tunnel..... Chill all those hormones down ladies, and if you wanna complain about being pregnant then do it!.... Everyone gets anxious at one point or another and wants to put themselves into labor! But in reality it's just going to drive you crazy trying!!!! Just relax and be happy that there is a kicking baby in there and not something not so good happening. Count your blessings! And don't take pregnancy for granted. Anything can happen and it is truly amazing how pregnancy works. Day by day.... Enjoy these moments because one day you will miss them!

That's true, but it can also go the other way. I was induced with my DD at 38.6 weeks (for no reason other than I was sick of being pregnant and wanted to meet her and my doc offered so...). When she was born the nurses and doctors immediately said she was closer to 42weeks than 39.
Putting words in my mouth? Because I never said that anyone couldn't bitch. Read it again. The only directive I gave was to not get pissy at the beginning of the monthers who already have outside babies. Everything else was pointing out the ridiculousness of posters (though many happen to be drive-bys) that insist their babies come out right now even though they haven't even gotten to their EDD.
But you did this. You kept complaining about still being pregnant in March.
Anyways, now that you're overdue I hope your baby comes soon.
