Cloth Diapering

Rash question

So my almost 7 month old has never had diaper rash or any rash down there at all. We've use All prefolds and covers. She came home from daycare today with a weird rash. It's not spotty at all just red and inflamed looking from lady parts up past her butt crack. Nothing new with our routine... Wash prefolds, cover and wet bags together every 2-3 days in hot with pre and post rinse top loader he washer and a small amount of powder tide. I'd post a pic but I just got her down for bed and then thought I'd ask here! I put diaper cream and a disposable on her for tonight. Any advice? Thanks!

  • I vote too long without a change.

Probably just this, in which case she will likely be fine in the morning.

Yes she's tried several new things this week, oranges, zucchini and cauliflower.

No smell. The DC uses an app to note when she changes her. It looks like normal times (every 3 hours or so) but who knows maybe she changed the wrong kid and put it online as my DD. Thanks ladies. I'll check it out in the AM and come back here if it isn't gone with a pic.

  • Hope she's looking better in the morning!

I would ease off the oranges for a little while. DS was very sensitive to acidic foods when we were EBF, so those were some of the last things we introduced when he started on solids.
