NYC Moms... Question about hospitals :-)

I live downtown in the financial district, I live right by all the trains on Fulton St so it's easy to get most anywhere.  NYU would probably be the closest for me and I have heard some positive things, but I'm also looking at Mt Sinai, Lenox Hill, and Roosevelt.  Any input would be appreciated as I keep hearing good and bad about every single one of them.  I can't even get in to tour some for over a month, so that is out, as I need to decide in the next few days so I can make a dr's appt.  There are dr's on my insurance plan for all of the hospitals and since I have never had a dr here I don't know one from the other so hopefully I will get lucky and get a good one. I would like to be able to get a private room, so any input on that is appreciated! Thanks in advance ladies!

I delivered my son at NYU.  The nursing staff is great.  The birthing rooms are well set up but the post delivery rooms are unbelievably small.  That won't be a problem if you can get a private room (they have a limited number though).

I delivered my daughter at Roosevelt Hospital last year in March and I will be delivering my next baby there this fall. I was VERY happy with my experience (as well as with their lamaze classes)...
