Hi, @lalagordo. A lot of us here are really struggling with TTC, so it can be hard to read about bfps from people who haven't posted much. That said, congrats and good wishes for a sticky baby.

Well I had read the rules. I didnt know what a relatively new person was supposed to do if they got a BFP soon. I didnt mean to hurt anyones feelings. It was not my first post or interaction. I appreciate @Davie813 I am not too savvy about these forums and dont post too much in general.. I imagine that I should have just disappeared. I am having some doubts about wether I am going to MC but I guess some might be too catty to care. Goodbye.
I understand your feelings, when I first started lurking on these boards, I was put off by what I saw as overreactions to drive-by's. But now I totally get it. I love hearing the encouraging success stories from the "regulars" but those that post a BPF a week after their first post really do feel like a slap in the face. Sorry, but it's true.
Sorry you feel let down and sorry for your previous loss, which is understandably making you nervous. But this group is actually not catty at all. FX for a H&H 9 mos and that you don't find yourself back here from the the PG 35+ board, but in the unfortunate event you do, you would be totally welcomed.
If you truly had read the introductory message, you would have seen this, right on top:
Drive By BFP's - Let's face it nobody likes a drive by. If you've never (or even only a few times) posted on our board, we politely ask that you do not come here to simply post your success story in getting a BFP.

He settles her in her home as a happy mother of children, praise the Lord! (Psalms 113:9)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understand, will guard your heart and mind in Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:7)
I am having some doubts about wether I am going to MC but I guess some might be too catty to care. Goodbye.
This is an absolutely horrid thing to say. As someone who has actually experienced a rather traumatic loss of my own, I can't imagine using it, or the possibility of one, to be hurtful to others in any way. I would never wish a loss on any person, in fact I actually care way too deeply about anyone going through a loss, anyone experiencing it gets my sympathy and sorrow, don't you dare think any of us would be too 'catty to care'. Ugh, that comment just really hits a nerve!!
You know, if you truly didn't intend to hurt anyone, a simple acknowledgement of having broken the rules and etiquette of this board and a straight up apology would have gone a long way. This whole response of yours calls into question your intent from the start. You say you read the rules, but your actions say that you disagree with them entirely. Your post history of three whole posts on all of TB before posting here means you're completely new and any BFP post would be considered a drive by. We are not mean for pointing this out, if you were to join any group in real life you would expect to be told how things work so you could follow their rules and act accordingly, why would you not expect it here?
