Umbrella Stroller for Tall Parents?

Does anyone have recommendations for an umbrella stroller for tall parents? My husband is 6'1" and has used a regular "cheap" umbrella stroller with our niece and he has to hunch over quite a bit to push it. I'd like a "cheap" umbrella stroller but so far what I'm finding for taller ones are $100+. Are there any with extendable handles?

  • We have the Chicco Echo ($99 @ Target and they frequently run 20% off offers). DH is 6'2 and it works well.

  • Many strollers with nicer features like extended handlebars are more expensive.  I might look for a used one in your area like Uppababy G-Luxe, Cybex strollers, and the Inglesina Swift/Trip are all nice and tall.  Some Maclaren strollers are tall but some are not also. The Inglesina's are around $100 from Albee Baby and they are really nice and tall.  I'd probably do that.  It's a nicer stroller than the Chicco Echo.

  • I have an Inglesina swift and it is really tall. I found a returned one on Amazon for $70.

  • Another vote for uppa baby G-Luxe.

  • I have the Inglesia Trip which is tall and I love it. It is a little pricier, but you can always look for sales or craigslist/resale shops.
