My daughter is 7 weeks old and I'm starting to look for a high quality baby gym or play mat for her. Does anyone have a favorite one? Right now, she loves looking at her black and white mobile but I'd like some other things for her. I'd like to get one that's not too "plastic-y" and maybe has a spot for tummy time. Thanks!
We have an Infantino twist and fold gym from Target. My 9 week old enjoys it. We also have a fisher price kick and play piano gym, and she LOVES that. Might be too plastic-y for you though.
I absolutely LOVE this activity gym. It's a little high in price, but it fits what you're looking for. I plan to keep it in the family since it held up so well.
we had the Baby Einstein under the sea one...they all sort of seem similiar to me? Although I did think the kick and play piano by FP was cool and wished I had registered for that one!
We also have the FP rainforest one. It was a huge hit with DD (and she still plays under it sometimes at 2 yrs old). It's also been a huge hit with all our friend's kids as well. I highly recommend it.

The Fisher Price Rainforest one has lights under it that seems to be the big selling point for most. If you are talking about the crib kick and play piano, I registered for that and believe it or not, found it useless. I didn't want baby kicking that thing in the crib because it's time for sleep. We put it in the living room near the couch and DD would kick it once or twice. Wasn't great for us!

I bought mine from Barnes and Noble and liked that I could wash it if I needed to.
