potty training and tantrum questions

My daughter is 2 1/2 and will be 3 in June. She just started this really bratty thing where if she doesn't get her way she screams and cries and throws tantrums. She gets put in her bed but it isn't helping. When does this stop???? I know I need to stay on top of it but omg I hope it gets better! This has been like 2 months of this....I hope by 4 at least since I am hoping to go to Disney and will NOT if she continues this. Are most children good without naps at 4?
I am a teacher and have off for the summers. I want her potty trained by the summer. Any suggestions on how to do this successfully. She is pretty good with urine (at school only) but will not go BM on the potty at all. She is terrified to do it but knows when it is coming and hides in her room. I try to put her on the potty and she screams bloody murder.
Any suggestions on any of this?
