Bleed after internal?

It's dark red and Any sign of blood at this point scares me... Anyone else need a panty liner after an internal!

    I posted something similar last night, only I had a lot of blood after an internal exam at the hospital - like a pool of blood on the stretcher when I got up and tons when I went to the bathroom.  The PA said it was OK and it tapered off to almost nothing within 12 hours. 

    Some spotting is definitely normal, but you should not see any gushes of bright red blood.  If you are concerned at what you are seeing, you can always call your OB.
