Bruising from Follistim?

I used Follistim last cycle and didn't have any problems... this morning I noticed two bruises, one at each injection spot. Anyone else experience this? Is it because maybe I'm keeping my refridgerator too cold? Do you guys let it warm up a little? I just dont want a belly full of bruises lol! Thanks!

Me 29/ DH 28
DH- MFI (low count, 2-3% morph)
IUI #1 January - Clomid, Ovidrel: BFN
IUI #2 February - Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel: BFP 1st beta-25, 2nd beta-56, 3rd beta-45, miscarriage
IUI #3 April - CD3 U/S 4-10. Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel CD11 - Cancelled.. TI w/5 follicles-BFN
IUI #3.1 May - CD3 U/S 5-6, Follistim start 5-11 thru 5-17, u/s 5-18 3 mature w/ a close 4th, IUI 5-20 - BFP!
             Beta #1 12dpo - 164 & progesterone - 89!, Beta #2 16 dpo - 1189, 5w3d - u/s shows TWINS!
             6/19- u/s showed heartbeats! Baby A 111 & Baby B 118, both measuring 6w1d
             7/3- Baby A hb 170, Baby B hb 166 - both measuring perfect.
             7/18 - Baby A 165, Baby B 171 - both measuring right on track & moving all around!

    From my understanding a bruise is just blood under the skin, broken capillaries. I think any time you inject a needle in your skin you can get a bruise. Some people are more prone to bruising than others. I don't think keeping it in the fridge or room temperature is going to make much of a difference. I get bruises too, especially when it bleeds and sometimes nothing happens.

    @NariaDreaming‌ I see where you have yourself shots :-) I'm doing mine all the way around. I like underneath better because it seems to hurt less.

    I had a two small bruises last cycle, on a low dose. I think DH just hit a capillary head on those times.

    I did get bruises sometimes on my tummy, not always.  I thought maybe I just wasn't inserting and removing the needle smoothly enough.  However, my last cycle and a half I started injecting in my leg and I had no bruising that way so who knows.

    2002- Diagnosed with PCOS at 18
    10/11-10/12 - tried to conceive naturally with Metformin, due to PCOS never had a cycle
    10/12-12/12 3 cycles of Clomid - fail
    6/13- 1st cycle on Clomid 50mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel- BFN
    7/13 2nd cycle on Clomid 50 mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel 1st IUI - BFN
    8/13 3rd cycle on Clomid 50 mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel 2nd IUI - BFN
    9/13 4th cycle on Clomid 50 mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel - Benched with Cysts
    From 12/13 to current I have ovulated 4 times naturally
    Currently on break to get healthy.... 35 pounds down, 13 to go!

    Im pretty prone to bruising, but oddly enough I dont bruise with Sub-Q shots. I dont do anything special before I take the shots though.

    Last cycle I did 100 iu & this cycle its 125 iu.. so I bet that's why. Great! I have like 3-4 more days to go I think ugh!

    I did learn my lesson yesterday on letting the alcohol dry before doing the shot. That stung!!!

    I have a habit of grabbing the alcohol pad and wiping up the blood when I pull the needle out. You would think after the first time I'd quit, but nope, I'm glutting for punishment.
