Alicia Silverstone is an idiot

She's on GMA this morning touting her new book about healthy and happy pregnancy/motherhood. She is talking about how the news is filled with horror stories about infertility and problem pregnancies and she looked around her at healthy women and realized there is a better way.

Um ok. I'm sure women are choosing infertility and unhealthy pregnancy because that's in their control. It infuriates me that this asshole is going to make money off of this. Thanks for listening to my rant.

37 years old, MH is 42
TTC since 2010; Dx Unexplained Infertility; possible male factor 
August 2012 through June 2013:  6 IUIs with clomid and trigger shot, all BFNs
7/2013, Pregnant! Unmedicated--we were on a treatment break
8/20/13 no heart beat; 8/23/13 d&c
3/15/14 IVF #1:  Lupron/Follistim/Menopur; ER 3/10 resulting in four transfer grade blastocysts, transferred one pretty blast and froze the remaining three. BFN. 
Natural FET in May cancelled because the universe hates me my hormones were not cooperating.
6/24/14 FET #1: transferred two pretty embryos; BFN   
8/28/14 FET #2: BFP, ended in Chemical pregnancy

Done with medical intervention and getting used to the idea of CFNBC.

    @LaRomana09‌ exactly. Also someone called in with a medical question about probiotics and Robin says, oh I'm sure you don't want to answer medical questions and Alicia Silverstone was like, no I got this.

    You know, when she was taking flak for cosleeping/chewing up her kids food like a bird, I defended her- to each their own. Her kids eating regurgitated food has no impact on my life. But this stupid book does affect me and further isolates me from the women who are LUCKY enough to have easy and healthy pregnancies. Grr.

    Yeah, for reals @meladoriestar‌ she's been a little out there but my philosophy is not to judge another parents philosophy if it doesn't affect me. Her new book, however, seems to be horseshit.

    OMG I just watched that.  She's a complete asshat.  I want to smack her.  Don't get me wrong I would give anything to be naive to all of this but not to be a jerk and hurtful to so many women.  Fuck her.

    I need to stop watching because I get more pissed every time. I left a comment on the video on Yahoo about how ignorant she is. I hope someone sees it and realizes how insensitive and hurtful it is.
    TTC since 4/28/07
    Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
    BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
    Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.

    June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

    PG#1 - 3rd cycle BFP. Team Green. HELLP syndrome @ 34 weeks.
    Later diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, possible link to HELLP.

    PG#2 M/C 3/14 - Surprise BFP 2/13. Beta's doubled every 52 hours from 3w5d-5w5d
    Viable pregnancy scan at 5w5d; 2nd u/s showed 2 days of growth in 7 but a HB of 120
    3rd u/s on 3/10/14 had no HB and baby had only grown 7 days over 14
    D&C 3/17/14 - complications - DX Retroflexed uterus, multiple tears to cervix
