Back with more twin names

Having some cold feet with my twin girl names…we picked names at least 10 weeks ago and I still waver sometimes; I am used to being set in stone by this point! Here are some combos that DH and I came up with. At this point, I don't want to introduce any totally NEW names, or my head may explode.

DD is Lorelei Rose and DS is Asher Allen.
DD- Born 03/09/2010
DS- Born 01/21/2012

Audrey Marie and Margot Elise (Original set. Never thought I would consider Margot but I just can't shake it!)

Audrey Elise and Marie Grace (DH proposed Marie as a FN. I am kind of "meh" but I do think it is pretty.)
21% 52 votes
Audrey Marie and Anneliese Joy (If we do this, three of our four kids will have letter A names).

Margot Elise and Marie Grace (Not sure if I want to do matching twin names, especially with the whole first part the same)
3% 9 votes
Anneliese Joy and Marie Grace (the whole new set that we came up with. Thinking of referring to Marie as "Marie Grace.")

  • I voted Audrey and Margot, but I also like the combo of Anneliese and Margot, which is not one of the options.

I knew I forgot something!  I don't think  DH and I really ever considered that anyway…Margot was kind of a compromise for him, but he liked how it went with Audrey…not sure if we would drop Audrey over dropping Margot, if that makes sense.  Anneliese was thrown back into the mix when we were second guessing things, though I do like it a lot.

I like Anneliese and Margot as well.

  • I voted Audrey and Anneliese because I love both names... even though I don't like the idea of all the A names (and one child being left out). But I just couldn't vote for Margot or Marie. Totally just a personal preference, I don't care for either of those names.
  • Margot and Marie. Lovely, classic. Audrey is so overdone to me.

  • We are thinking Audrey for this little lady too -- I think it's beautiful. LOVE it paired with Margot or Marie (voted for Margot).
  • I really like your original set, but I think that Marie Grace is gorgeous so I voted for that.

I voted for Audrey & Marie. I don't like Margot. Audrey & Marie are both classic, elegant, and easy to spell.

  • I voted Audrey and Margot. I also like Marie as a FN, but don't love the combo Marie Grace. Anneliese is NMS
    Exactly this.

  • I am biased b/c I have a dd Marie. I never thought I'd pick it as a FN either. But I really wanted to honor my Grandmom Stella and I couldn't think of anything else that sounded good with Stella as the MN. So we ended up with Marie Stella and it is perfect for her.

  • Audrey and Marie is too soft sounding to me. It also kind of reminds me of Donny and Marie (but that could just be me!). I voted Audrey and Margot. They sound great together - very balanced.

They are all nice names. Congrats on your baby girls! :)
  • Audrey and Margot :)

  • Margot and Marie Grace. I'm so sick of Audrey; very overdone in my area as is Aubrey.

I also just saw Marie Louise and thought the double fn combo was very pretty, too.

I may add Marie Grace to my list :)

  • Audrey & Margot or Audrey and Anneliese. I think that Marie is just too overused and doesn't flow as well with Audrey.

  • I think you should go with your first choice. Oliver and his mn - George were on my "never thought I'd consider, but I'm really drawn to them" names and I'm SO happy I went with them. I totally advocate for going a little out of your comfort zone for a name that's just calling to you.
  • I think your original set is great!

  • Personally I like Annaliese & Margot together. Aubrey is becoming increasingly more popular & for me Marie is just more of a middle name. Congrats
