My tip: when in public and no easy or clean place is around to change a diaper, recline the stroller with the travel changing pad. Maybe common sense but I didn't think of it myself!
Layer the crib mattress with the waterproof mattress cover, waterproof pad, fitted sheet, another pad, fitted sheet, another pad, fitted sheet. Works well for diaper leaks or bigger issues in the middle of the night, you can whip off a sheet and a pad and not have to redo the bed.

I like doing this instead of using the changing table for sanitation reasons..but I was wondering if one could get in trouble for this? Like public nudity or something? I don't know. I always pull the canopy of the stroller all the way down so people walking by would have a very hard time seeing LO, but I'm still worried that it's illegal or something?

Lolz...I highly judge the person that goes out of their way to call the cops on a nude baby.
When wearing a Moby, put it on before you leave the house so as not to drag it through the dirt/dirty parking lot/Target floor/miscellaneous nasty surface when you reach your destination.
For my 6am feeding, I put a portable changing pad (the soft kind) underneath the baby and feed him lying down in bed, preventing milk or spit-up from getting on my sheets. Then I leave him there on the pad while DH sleeps and I take a shower.
Kermode61581 Yeah it's pricey. DS was getting a welt on his knuckle from sucking his hand so I caved and bought it. He has been cramming that thing in his face allll day and it's super easy for him to grab. So it was totes worth it.

Yeah, but I was more worried about when we're at the mall and there are mall cops wandering around anyway..
------------- Lol seriously? I would bet my first born mall cops do not have nekked babies on their radar. They are there for people stealing lipstick and teenager ruckuses. Please don't give this worry another ounce of energy

@RoseVA much better than what I did. I ended up sitting on the floor of a Chinese restaurant bathroom, changing LO on my outstretched legs.
I did this in a Tim Hortons/coldstone once and I was so mad that they didn't have a changing station I illogical decided I would drive DD1 across town for dairy queen instead...This was in the early days so I may have overreacted but I get really annoyed when places don't have changing stations.

Totally get this , but be careful with too many layers as it can create too soft of a sleep environment and be a SIDS risk.
Carry an extra onesie & small pants or shorts to be prepared for a popsplosion lol
I experienced it yesterday at sams she was in the carrier & well you know.
I had to buy something to put on her oh & carry an extra shirt for yourself.
Hmmm 3 kids and I have NO truly amazing tricks.... So here's some ok ones...
1.Serve all bottle room temp from the beginning... Easy to carry room temperature bottles of water & no meltdown when out & about and traveling....
2. The crib layering trick... waterproof+ fitted, waterproof + fitted and bam! You're a crib changing ninja at 3am! (much cooler trick with diaper flooding toddlers or with throwing up babies)
3. Give naps in the crib in the nursery and bedtime in the bassinets... Make crib transitioning at night a little less stressful
4. Pack an oh shiznit bag. In the back of my mom whip, I leave a bag/small plastic tote that contains snacks, drinks, bottled water, bottle & formula, pacifier, diapers for my girls size 1 & 5 about 3 each, extra pair of undies for my 5yr old and extra set of clothing for all. And then I never fear if we get to someones house & I've forgotten something, have an accident at the park, or hopefully never to be used but an emergency kit for the long drives since we live in the middle of nowhere! (I also have a real auto emergency kit)
If baby needs a pacifier to soothe while in the car
KEEP extras in all of your cars you never know when you might loose one, accidentally drop one on the floor or just plain forget one lol
Keep a container of hand sanitizer wipes on the changing table to clean up after a diaper change.
Instead of boiling bottles, pacifiers etc run them through the sanitize cycle on the dishwasher.
Drop some oxy boost powder in the wash with cloth diapers to help remove stains and keep them looking white without having to use bleach. Ditto for baby clothes.

My DS was a spitter. Which means that not only did he go through 3-4 outfits a day but so did I. I have a flat waterproof mattress pad for the crib... It's soft like a blanket. I put that on my lap under the boppy when I fed him to catch the spit up. He's gotten much better.... Now I only use it when we will be leaving the house shortly after his feeding.

A tip mum gave me was to put two mattress covers and two mattress protectors down, that way if baby pees all over one middle of the night you just take that one off and have the other under ready to go
I attach the pacifier clip not to the straps but to the padded covers that came on the car seat - the shoulder-pad-looking things. If they wear out, I am not that concerned and then it is near to his mouth

Let your baby soothe themselves to sleep early on so you aren't rocking them all the time as they get bigger and heavier!
1. Bagbalm on eczema. It's amazing.
2. This for babies who spend 100% of their time trying to shove their entire hand into their mouth:

When breast feeding in public, do not make eye contact. That way you won't know if they are appalled or not.

@cboyington yes. It's kind of the best.
Shipping costs are insane here, like equivalent to the item. That just chokes me up.

The joys of living in Canada in the middle of nowhere (disclaimer: I am not nearly as remote as mightymousy).
@Kermode61581 I wonder if my prime account would let me ship it to you free? Or if they'd be all like, "Canada? No."
Probably be like "Canada, are you kidding?!"

Dress baby in clothes that don't go over the head for pediatrician visits. Have him dressed except for pants before shots.
