Need advice RE: Weird Rash

So six days ago I noticed a weird rash on DD. It is sort of circular starting on one bum cheek and then extends down the back of her leg to behind her knee in almost a perfectly straight line. It is only red when irritated (when she wakes up with a wet diaper). It is bumpy/raised.

I am hoping someone might have some experience with this and can give me some advice. I went back and forth from the doctor's three times last week with my kids and would love to avoid that this week!

Did she get a bug bite?  This happened to me when I was little and the doctor told my mother I had some kind of infection from a bug bite.  Honestly, I don't remember what it was but I remember being at the doctor's and the rash was just as you described!  If you don't want to go to the doctor, I would call the office and speak to a nurse/doctor and get their opinion.  Good luck!
