14 wks and still taking dex....? and NT question

Is anyone else still on their steriod at 14 or more weeks?  I feel like it's overkill, and I did the wrong thing and googled it.  Of course, it says not sure if safe to take while pregnant......ugh meds.....

Also OB hasn't mentioned any testing for abnormalities, we have one check up next week and then the anatomy scan 3 weeks later.  Are these tests routine or how were they brought up for those who had them?

I can't answer about the steroids, but we had to ask for the NT scan and that's when we were told that my obgyn doesn't do testing on multiples, so we got the referral to MFM and they automatically did it. So I don't know if every ob does the Nt as routine. If we were a "normal" pregnancy I think we would have just had the initial visit and then the anatomy scan at 20 weeks.

My OB told us we didn't need the NT scan but since we are an ivf pregnancy that it would be nice for me to see the baby and calm my fears until the next appointment. So he basically only offered it because I was so anxious in the beginning. Lol

You can always request/demand genetic testing, PROGENITY is a common company that does it as fas as NT testing, today my RE told me that needs to be done between 11 & 12 weeks, and if you are 14 weeks idk how accurate. . I haven't graduated my RE office yet, but she's doing all the genetic testing for us bc it's not something OBGYNs test for. . Today I had 8 vials taken for infectious diseases, trisomy 21, 18, & 13, monosomy x, (trisomy 21 is the one for downs, the nt also is the same test) we also got tested for cystic fibrosis, fragile x, and spinal muscular atrophy. They send it through PROGENITY, they do a lot of genetic testing
