bfp & possible m/c (heparin ?)- sorry, long t&p pls

Hi all. It's been a long time since I've posted since it's been 4 yrs since my last pg and m/c. On Monday, I was scheduled for a consult on round 2 of ivf and since I was 14dpo, I tested and got a miracle natural bfp. As a background, all 3 previous pg ended in m/c around 8-9 wks discovered during scans. We have multiple diagnosis' including the latest for me of positive for Lupus Anticoagulant. I went to the midwife day of bfp and started baby aspirin and heparin. Well, Thur I had a very small amount of brown spotting. A little more yesterday plus the feeling af was coming (no cramping, just feeling of twinges and pressure) and a streak of red. I have never m/c or spotted this early so freaking out a little. I did start progesterone last night although don't want to delay the inevitable as it is so early. I'm not in the US so they don't let you see drs here even through I am classified as high risk and I don't want to sit in the hospital for 4 hrs to see a midwife as there is nothing they can do. If this is a mc, do I just stop the heparin? Would the progesterone stop the spotting or since it already started would it not have an effect if it is the end? I just don't want to get my hopes up...

I have no experience with heparin but wanted  to let you know that I am sorry that you are going through this and that you do not have access to a doctor.

Is there anything you may have done that could have irritated the cervix and caused the red spotting? Also, are you using progesterone suppositories? Those could be causing the spotting and other symptoms that your are experiencing.

Sending you hugs. I don't have experience with heparin but I do with progesterone. Is there an on call nurse you can call to get a professional opinion? There could be many reasons why you would be bleeding such as irritated cervix. As for the progesterone it could potentially stop the the spotting but unfortunately it probably won't stop a miscarriage if it happens. I am thinking positive thoughts for you. If it were me I would wait to speak with a doctor or nurse before stopping anything. There have been many ladies on this board who have bled for various reasons and everything turned out ok. I am hoping the same for you.

thanks everyone. I only started the progesterone last night. Still having brown spotting, but trying to be somewhat positive and remember that will be will be. As much as I want this to be our sticky baby, I don't think you ever feel secure again after a loss.
