Spin on the twins born in different years

I saw the post below about the twins born in two different years.  The same thing happened to my cousins.  I have twin cousins, born just before and after midnight.  One was born Dec 31, 1979 and the other was Jan 1, 1980.  So they love to tell people how they are twins but one is a child of the 70's and the other is a child of the 80's.  Back when Johnny Carson hosted the tonight show, he always had the first baby of the year on his show.  The year my cousins were born, he interviewed their mom via phone from her hospital bed.

What a cool story they have to tell! I think it's great that they are twins but have thier own special individual day!

It also makes me realize ALL midnite baby twins may have different birthdates.... makes you wanna keep the babies in til 11:59 lol

I just realized the the parents only get one deduction for 08.

DH and I were just talking about whether or not this ever happens. I haven't seen the other post, but I've always wondered if any twins were born on 12/31/99 & 1/1/00.
